Apocalypse means Uncover - and vice versa?

These days physicists collide elementary particles at high speeds to create new not-yet-seen particles. And the heavier the original particles that collide, the "curiouser" the results get... But what happens if we take something as heavy as  apples and collide them at the speed of thought? What kind of new and unexpected ideas might see the light?

This is exactly the question we wanted the answer for. And - lo and behold - we have built the first ever Synchrotron Apple Collider, along with the sophisticated ideon detector (the "ideon" is the elementary "particle of thought," much like the "photon" is the elementary "particle of light"). New ideas are detected, sorted out through the BS-filter (that's the Belief-System Filter) to get rid of the irrelevant noise, collected into the quantum incubator, where the especially radiant ideas are tested for a long enough half-life, and then are packaged and released for the public consumption.

The first prototype was built in 2007 in a small backyard, and due to space limitations and narrow plumbing, could only accelerate apple seeds. Despite its limitations, the results have greatly exceeded our expectations (and the capacities of the "facility"), and, irradiated by the successful proof of concept, we have grown a few extra heads and a pair of wings, and made a bold leap into the construction of a full-blown Apple Collider.

Today, we stand at the base of our "Apple Pi" (as we sometimes call it), and waiting for the last touches to be finished before the first crop of apples from the nearby specially constructed orchard will be ideometrically teleported into the "cooker" - a smaller linear accelerator that feeds the apples into the Main Ring.

As the news of our Accelerator have spread to the nearby towns, we started to hear (yet unconfirmed) rumors of protests against the First Experiment, because some people believe that producing such powerful and highly concentrated ideon beams might create a hypothesized super-particle called Strangelet Attractor, known to turn any other ideas that it touches into similarly powerful Strangelet Attractors, and thus, quickly spread and transform the entire planet. However, the creation of such super-particles is a very unlikely phenomenon, and, if our calculations are correct, there is a greater chance that an apple falling from a tree on your head will turn you into another Isaac Newton. In other words, calm down and relax, everything is going to be just fine.
